In conclusion, the character of Mickey in the TV series Shameless is, in fact, gay.
So, he is straight and not gay in his real life.
Despite his personal life, he has played the character of Ian Gallagher so well on the show that people sometimes think he is gay in real life too. But so, what's there to know about Cameron's dating history? It is not until his wife finds them together where she acknowledges their relationship, bringing to light that Ian and Kash must stop what they are doing.
At one point in the show, Mickey and Ian’s relationship sparks when they hook up.
Their relationship was tested in many ways and most would not expect Mickey to react the way he did. Some fans believe that Cameron might be dating a model named Lauren Searle.
