At the time of this interview, over 7 years ago, Duncan was going through a painful divorce.
While all of this was happening, Spurs players were repeatedly questioned about Duncan’s sexuality.
An inside source close to the divorce proceedings told Diary of a Hollywood Street King that Duncan had been involved in a gay relationship during his Wake Forest University days. The San Antonio Spurs icon is accused of at least being a bisexual, or even gay, by soon-to-be-ex-wife, Amy.
Amy was Tim's college sweetheart before they were married and their divorce had lots of nasty accusations, including a charge that Tim Duncan had been in a gay relationship since college. He’s my teammate regardless of his sexual preferences.”
What do you make of this controversy, if anything?
The court proceedings finally resulted in divorce - the marriage formally ended in August with a dissolution and the Tim is moving on with a beautiful brunette. With his ability to defend anyone, or the ease with which he could score the ball, the 5-time champion established himself as one of the best players in the league in his prime.
Given that, a question like the one CTG asked was incredibly disrespectful to the legendary forward.
