The Vancouver Pride Parade returns on Sunday, August 3, from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM, lighting up downtown Vancouver with love, colour, and celebration!

Yaletown Roundhouse station (www.translink.ca) is a 1 minute walk (65 metres) from the parade route. Is there a map of the parade route?

The parade kicks off on Pacific Boulevard, just past Griffiths Way, then heads west along Pacific Boulevard as it turns into Pacific Street, past Yaletown skyscrapers, the Roundhouse Community Centre and David Lam Park, before ending at Pacific Street and Burrard Street.

Check in at the Info Tent (Davie Street at Pacific Blvd) from 11am to access this tent. Vancouver Pride Parade is an outdoor event. Will there be accommodations for those with accessibility needs?

Youth Pride Party: Join the Queer Inclusion team on Parade Day for our free pride party for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth!

This seating can be booked in advance via this link . Hosted by Amica Canada, this area includes shaded seating, water and snacks in close proximity to washrooms and commentary from Vancouver Pride Parade’s emcees. Water refilling is available inside Roundhouse Community Centre and David Lam Park (by the washrooms). Guests wishing to access this space can find it inside Roundhouse Community Centre Room C.

Volunteers at the Info Tent (Davie St at Pacific Blvd) can help to direct you.

Reserved seating and shade areas

Folks requiring an accessible seating option to enjoy the parade are welcome to check in at the Info Tent (Davie St at Pacific Blvd) from 11am. Check in at the Info Tent (Davie Street at Pacific Blvd) at 11am to obtain a pass.

This must be displayed on your dashboard for the duration of the event.

Scent policy: VPS aims to minimize the use of scented products at event venues to accommodate individuals with scent sensitivities or allergies. Space is limited so arriving before noon is recommended.

Seniors shade area (11am-3pm).

Vancouver’s annual Pride Parade takes place on Aug.

3 — a celebration of diversity and inclusion that’ll wind its way from Pacific Boulevard, near the Concord Pacific Lands, to the West End.

The parade is part of the Vancouver Pride Festival, a weekend-long event full of festivities and live entertainment that celebrates the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

VANCOUVER PRIDE PARADE

Parade accessibility viewing zones are located exclusively outside Roundhouse Community Centre and are free to access on a first come first served basis.

More details on accessibility features below.

David Lam Park features:

Food and beverage services (10am-7pm), washrooms (this is a park facility with gendered washrooms and wheelchair accessible stall), water refill, flat grass areas with natural shade, sharps disposal in washroom, sidewalks are wide with smooth pavement and brick surfaces.

We will also set up an area in front of the centre where we can come outside and celebrate and cheer as a group as the parade rolls past. Guests are welcome to bring their own chairs to be used in any of the zones listed above while space permits.

Heat precautions: Please bring a water bottle and sun protection with you.
