Celebrity appearances at the event have grown, drawing stars such as Ross Mathews, Bebe Rexha, and Adam Lambert, which has only strengthened its appeal on the global stage. We know that making our Pride event truly accessible for disabled and neurodivergent attendees means more than just finding ways to be ADA-compliant which is why we introduced the Calming Pavilion, a safe space with fidgets, coloring books and noise-cancelling headsets as part of our Festival activities in Lummus Park in April 2022.
d/Deaf/hard-of-hearing Service: Miami Beach Pride provides tri-lingual performance interpreting services during the weekend festival in Lummus Park.
Miami Beach Pride actively partners with the Boucher Brothers who work with the city of Miami Beach to offer the rental of Beach access wheelchairs.

Miami Beach Pride strives to ensure that its services are accessible to people with disabilities. Support from the local community and government entities continues to fuel their efforts as Miami Beach Gay Pride works diligently to expand LGBTQ pride celebrations while fostering an inclusive atmosphere and cultural understanding.
We take the Americans with Disabilities Act very seriously which is why we are proud to say that we are 98% ADA compliant in our main festival footprint in Lummus Park, Miami Beach.
Our festival event in Lummus Park features industrial matting from all major entrances and arteries to allow easy access to all restrooms, food vendor areas, dance floors, performance stages and speciality activated tents allowing for an easy and enjoyable experience.
Led by Bruce Horwich as President, Juan Sanchez as Vice President, and Matthew Thomas as Treasurer, MIAMI BEACH GAY PRIDE organizes free events that strive for safety, inclusivity, and entertainment for everyone involved. Since growing from a local gathering into an international event in 2009, the organization has become well-known.
All additional auxiliary facilities we use are 100% ADA compliant.
For disabled and neurodiverse members of our community, their disability identity is as much a part of their identity as being a part of the LGBTQIA+ community. They, perhaps more than anyone else, want to be heard and invited into a welcoming space, both physically and attitudinally.
Attendees can explore over 125 LGBT-friendly vendors, catch celebrated performances by renowned celebrities and musical acts, and enjoy family-oriented activities. Make sure to call ahead and reserve your beach wheelchair since quantities are limited. It hosts its annual festival along Ocean Drive in the famous Art Deco district of Miami Beach.
