“We knew from the very first week in the writer’s room that we were going to tell Caitlyn and Vi’s story,” writer, producer and story editor Amanda Overton tells me following the final act’s premiere on Netflix.

“I still write stories for my 16 year old self. Like, should I date someone my mom wanted me to date? One of them would die, Vi and Jinx would be in a sibling rivalry for the ages, or the world would be torn down by dark forces outside their control.
