Lil Nas X Says He's 'Sexually Conservative' Now
Lil Nas X has opened up about his sexuality once again and has put down some boundaries for fans in the process.
The rapper and singer took to Instagram on Dec.
4, where he participated in a Q&A with fans. During it, he was asked what his favorite sexual position was and what type of guy he was into. it’s about a guy i met last summer. but before this month ends i want y’all to listen closely to c7osure.
This song served as an open-hearted letter to his fans as it described Hill’s fears and hopes for the future after getting candid and upfront about his sexuality with the world, being looked at as a leader and spokesperson for the queer community.

This particular piece gained significant traction for its bold representation of sexuality and religion as it retold theological stories through a Queer lens.
To put it lightly, it sparked protest videos of numerous religious groups, making global headlines (per Medium). And I love to do that. Still, when met with shock and blowback from his conservative fanbase, the rapper shared a follow-up tweet to address it all, writing, “deadass thought i made it obvious”.
Along with this tweet, he pointed out through the attached images that the album art of 2019’s EP 7 even included an LGBTQI+ flag on the cover, so that’s that too.

While coming out had him garnering significant attention under the limelight, a few years later, Lil Nas X was barely done making headlines yet.

10. The next day, he further cemented this thought with a follow-up tweet that read, “that was my last time coming out the closet i promise”.
But that was, of course, not really the case as, almost eleven months later, he once again took to his X handle on November 29, 2023, to write,
not gonna lie i wanted to reinvent myself for this next era but sadly im still gay
What’s worth noting is that, while he came out as a part of the LGBTQ+ community, Hill originally only suggested that he’s gay, i.e., he didn’t actually say the word ‘gay’ while coming out.
